The RPG Maker is a program with the help of which you can create your own role playing game, without having any special technical knowledge. You can import into the game the character graphics that you have created, along with the music and sound effects. If you are unable to do so, the game has built-in character graphics and sound that you can use.
You can start creating your game by first preparing a map, as shown by this program. Know this map to be a kind of stage where your game adventure will be played. Then comes the task of setting up the different characters and special objects that are going to be there in your game, like the hero, the different villains, the magic sword, the flying horse and so on. Finally you will be creating the events in which all these characters and objects will be interacting. These events are placed around the map. The program does the rest and you are ready to play the game.
The program has a portability function with which you can save your game and transfer it to be played on other computers. You can also distribute it or sell your game over the internet. |
